Karen Russell's 6 x 12 Transparency Standing Album Class

11.13.2008

Collages

I am so excited to be teaching this next month at my local scrapbook store! This is Karen Russell's Class that she has so generously extended to retailers and designers to teach, providing the material lists as well as a very nice tutorial with step by step instructions. She uses her Narratives, Bloom Collection patterned papers, chipboard letters and transparencies, photo sleeves, paint and some other little goodies.

I wish you could see this in real-life, it just feels good in your hands and is so cool to look through. Painting the backside of the papers gives them an almost leathery feel.

I was really surprised at how many photos you can include in this project and I think that when teaching the actual class we are going to include one photo sleeve that allows for 2 x 3 sized photos as well, so you'll be able to get even more in then I did in mine!

This was the first time that I did something creative with my wedding photos too and I am so happy that I did. What a neat way to present your photos from a special event.

It's a beautiful project! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Sorry I missed you last week too. This week is pretty crazy and with Thanksgiving coming up it's looking like it won't settle down until the beginning of December. How about then? :)
