Creative Imaginations : Hot Cocoa Packet

Hot Cocoa Packet

I created this little project for the Creative Imaginations blog for the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways that we're doing...I thought I'd share the instructions here as well.

Hot Cocoa Packet

Supplies:
Instructions

To create the base of the cocoa pack, score your piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4 inches by 11 1/2 inches at 1 1/2 inch, 6 1/2 inches and again at 7 inches. The 1 1/2 inch score line will be your front small flap. Using your circle cutting system (I use the Coluzzle cutting system) cut your circle on what will be your front of the cocoa pack, closer to the bottom allowing your top flap to flap over without being interfered. Cut another circle out of the patterned paper that you want to decorate the front of your cocoa pack and adhere using your adhesive runner. Adhere your contrasting patterned paper to the small top flap and add a scalloped border along the bottom of your flap. Attach ribbon along where it is that you attached your scalloped border and tie a bow for the front. Stamp your image (or print your clip art) and color as desired. Adhere slightly overlapping your circle window using 3 dimensional adhesive. You are now done! Add a baggie of cocoa to the inside (securing with adhesive) or a special handmade treat and you have a special little something to give away this holiday season!
