I am so excited today to be hosting a giveaway for SEI! I got to choose what kit I would like to give away and I chose the August cardmaking kit featuring the Daydreamer paper collection. I love the colors but also am loving the birds and feathers theme that is throughout the kit. There are some really beautifully patterned papers in this kit as well.

The winner of the giveaway will receive:

16 cardstock papers (12 x 12)
glitter paper
sticker sheet
4 specialty envelopes
8 card bases and envelopes
shaker pack
sundries (I love these!)
die-cut pack
instructions (which you may or may not choose to use!)

Okay, here are the details on how it is that you can win this beautiful kit...

Leave a comment below in this post sharing a favorite summer memory from this summer! My favorite memory for sure this summer is getting to go to Delta Lodge with my family for a week. We made some wonderful memories there together.

I will choose a winner randomly (by a drawing) and announce them here on the blog on Monday, August 3rd.

Good luck and thanks for participating in the giveaway!

My favorite summer memory is spending summers at my grandparents house in the south, days on the front porch reading and nights chasing fireflies...

One of the summer memories that is special to me is going up to my parents house sitting in lawn chairs on the patio talking and laughing, having Dad show me around his flower garden to see the newest blooms.

My favorite summer memory is the 4th holiday when our daughter's came from out of state with their husbands and our grandkids to the lake for a week! Ok, now I have a lump in my throat because I miss them so much but it is worth the great memories. New to you blog but will definitely be back!

As of yet I have not done anything memorable this summer but in 3 days I will be leaving on a 2 week trip to visit my BFF (we have known each other for over 40 years) and we are planning lots of memorable things to do. We will be taking our first ever road trip together to sell her wares at the HOOT Convention in Columbus, OH.

My favorite Summer memory from this year is the day all three of my grandchildren were here together. Watching my 10 and 7 year old grandsons, Joseph and Isaac, include their 3 year old cousin, Jenna, without being told to made my heart so full I thought it would burst. The love they have for each other is amazing and magical! Jenna calls them Sac-Sac and Osep and when she is here and they aren't she goes to the picture of them on the wall and kisses and hugs them. These are moments that I wouldn't trade for a million bucks!

My favorite moment of this summer was sitting on a sparkly white sandy beach in Curacao and my 13 year old son comes up to hug me and says that I am the best Mami in the world and the prettiest.

We had our family reunion
this month. I painted red,
white and blue stars on the
lawn and my sister's dog rolled
in first the white paint, getting
it on her red dog shirt. Then
later, we turned around and she
was in the red paint and looked
like she had been beat as it looked
like bruises on her! Silly dog.

My favorite summer memory was going to Gulf Shores with my sister and her 3 boys. The boys had never been to the beach and I loved just stepping back and watching their faces every day when we went to the beach. They had the time of their lives!

The best part of this summer (so far!) was driving my son to a camp in Oregon. Maybe that doesn't sound that fun, but my son is severely disabled and has never been able to attend a summer camp. This camp was as special as he is; he had a buddy assigned to him who stuck to his side like glue, making sure he was able to participate in all the typical camp activities. He went horseback riding (WOW!), rode in a motorboat (a thrill for him), played games, ate junk food, and stayed up late every night. I got to relax and watch him play - in the sure knowledge he was safe and having a good time. The memories will carry me through the whole year until we can go back to our special place in Oregon.
