Popping on to share my first layout using my Simple Stories watermark! Somehow that makes this design team gig all the more real. I wish I could call my dad and share the news and this layout with him.
I used the Hello Today collection for this layout, it matched perfectly with the Simple Stories group photo of all the other talented ladies that I get to work alongside this year. So dang excited!
I discovered a little trick for printing journaling on a page that makes it look as though you printed right on your colored patterned paper or cardstock. If you print your journaling on vellum paper and use a special adhesive that's made just for vellum, it looks pretty much as though you printed on to your patterned paper! Super fun for me as I've always wished that I had a 12x12 printer so that I could print right on my large sheets of paper. This is a totally fantastic work-around!
