When I saw that one of my assignments for this month for Simple Stories was to use the Simple Vintage Coastal collection I knew exactly what photos I'd be using on a layout! I have some great photos of Zoey that were taken a several years back while visiting Tarpon Springs, Florida. She loved exploring the sponge docks while there and I loved getting to see her enjoying the very same spots that I got to explore when I was her age! Win..win!
I love all of the seashell and starfish stickers and made sure to feature a handful of them by creating a border of stickers along the right-hand side of my page. I created a curved strip of patterned paper by tearing and added some sewing machine stitching...I thought the stitching kind of went with the whole "casting the nets into the sea" vibe that the sponge docks has going on.
