Simple Stories "Sending Hugs" Card Kit

Do you create and send valentines? I used to create a whole bunch when Zoey was little and would send them with her to school for her friends and classmates but now it's just here and there that I'll make some. I usually (gasp!) will buy them to give to family and friends these days! That said, I couldn't resist playing with the "Sending Hugs" card kit from Simple Stories to put these cards together.

There are a total of eight cards (I'll share the other four with you when we get closer to Valentine's Day) and everything in the kit is all pre-punched and ready to go, complete with detailed instructions on how to put the cards together. You can always change things up and make the cards more your own as well. I added a few epoxy stickers to one of my cards here.

I was away from home when I put these together. That's another great thing about card kits...they are a perfect project to take with you while you're on the road! Anyways, I think that if I had been at home while putting these together I would have added a bit of sewing maching stitching to some of them just to add a bit more of a handmade touch.

I love the artowrk on the die-cuts...isn't that record player oh so cute?!

I've got some fun projects to share with you soon (as well as some fun creative news!)...until then, have fun creating!
