Summertime Vacation

4.09.2019

This morning I spent time in the kitchen baking and then prepping for tonight's dinner so that I could have a bit of time this afternoon to spend in my craft room. I knew that I wanted to put together a page using these photos from our trip to the Dinosaur Park while in Rapid City, South Dakota. I just wasn't sure how it was going to put so many photos together on a page. I ended up printing two of my more favorite photos larger and then kept the rest small, 2x3 inches seemed to work.

I kept everything else that I added to the pages pretty minimal since there was so much blue and lots to look at with the photos.

Something that I've been playing around with lately too that's a bit new for me is creating word text boxes for the journaling on my pages. I will measure my approximate space allotted for the journaling on my page after I have it somewhat put together and then go from there.

It's not perfect, but it does the job and gets the story on the page.

Most of the embellishments on this layout are from Cocoa Daisy (previous kits) and Ali Edwards StoryKits.

Have a beautiful day!

XO,

Jen
