Cedar & Pine

 I thought I would pop on quick this afternoon and share my favorite holiday collection that's available from Close To My Heart this year, Cedar & Pine. I am simply in love with the old time yet classic feel of these papers, colors, patterns and images! I'm hoping to get some good pictures of my daughter this year in The Nutcracker so I can put that adorable Nutcracker sticker to good use!

I actually find that I like picking up some of my holiday crafting supplies well ahead of the actual holidays so that I know what I have on hand to create with as I'm taking photos during the special events that I attend or take part in. It kind of helps me plan what stories I may want to tell and how I will tell them using the supplies that I know I already have on hand. It also helps with knowing what kind of photos I want to take!

I find it so nice to sit down at my craft table when all is said and done and to essentially get to re-live all of the special moments again while I'm documenting and sharing stories while they are still fresh in my mind and heart. I love how Close to My Heart makes it so much more easier to do just this with all of their coordinating papers, complements, cardstock and other goodies.

I actually didn't pick up these adhesive backed bows when I purchased this collection and now wish that I had. They are so perfect and go so well with everything...they would be cute toppers for tags or additions to cards too. I might have to sneak another order in before they disappear!
