Hanging Pocket Note Holder

It's not very often that I create with more masculine colored themed papers but I knew that I wanted to do something with the Timber collection due to the plaids and woodgrain papers alone! I love plaid papers so much. I'm happy that with the paper pack I still have some sheets left to play with for some fall scrapbook pages.
For this project I used the Hanging Note Holder design from the Silhouette Design Store and cut it out using my machine using papers from Close to my Heart's Timber Paper Packet and Sticker Sheet set. I added a wood button to the top (kind of reminded me of a flannel shirt after all) and was done!

The note paper that I tucked inside is actually a piece of patterned paper from a Mix-In set and the embellishments are simply some of the stickers from the sticker sheet included in the paper pack that I just popped up a bit using 3 dimensional adhesive. I was thinking this might be fun to put on the fridge for notes, coupons, or receipts or maybe tack on to a bulletin board at work.

Thanks for stopping by!
