You Love Books | Scrapbook Layout

 

Last night I enjoyed a bit of time in my craft room and put this page together. Loving those large letters and how the insides of them became homes for some other papers and embellishments. 

I used a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store for the notebook paper strips. I love how put all together the different strips made a fun and different background. I used my ruler and penned in a border around three sides. Just a simple pen line can sometimes help bring everything together. 

I used bits and pieces from the Read Collection from Ali Edwards Design, Inc. for the "bookish" embellishments and papers (actually were 3x4 cards that I cut down). 

Zoey recently had rearranged her room and stacked her two (previously) side-by-side bookshelves on top of one another. She LOVES her books this way and seeing (most) of her books all organized like this I knew I wanted to snap a picture and create a layout around her love of reading. She also has shelves that are mounted on her wall above her desk filled with books. She's a reader!
