Twinkle, Shine, & Sparkle

I ordered Vicki Boutin's Warm Wishes collection knowing that I would love creating with it and I wasn't mistaken! Some of the papers kind of give me a Basic Grey feeling which I'm super happy about. I only have a handful of Basic Grey patterned papers left in my stash and I tend to hoard them!

It's always a bit hard for me to take Christmas photos that don't look at least a bit "warm" and these ones are from several years past now so they have a bit more of an orange-y glow than I would like, but I thought the pictures went perfectly with these papers anyways!

I especially had fun playing with the ornament die-cuts on this layout. I used some of Vicki's die-cuts and puffy stickers as well as cutting few out using my Silhouette Cameo and then backing them with some of VB's papers.

So fun! She makes layering so easy with all of the various die-cuts and stickers inlcluded...super fun to make little clusters of bits here and there like these tags and stickers peeking out from behind one of my photos.

I didn't get as much "me time" i.e. "craft time" as I was hoping for over Christmas break here but am super thankful for the time that I got to spend in my craft room today before I head back to work tomorrow.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
