Museum Love Scrapbook Layout

3.25.2019

I managed a little time today to work on this page using photos from spring break from a few years ago (March 2016). We visited the Geology Museum at UW-Madison and Zoey was in complete awe at the time. She loves going to museums, I'm glad I was able to put all these photos on to one page. Originally I was going to make this a two page spread but wasn't happy with how it was coming together with that as my plan.

For my title I used my Silhouette Cameo and cut out the word museum, "love" is one of the chipbard stickers from the latest StoryKit from Ali Edwards.

It's been awhile since I have had my handwriting on a scrapbook layout...I wanted to use those little journaling tags so it was either handwriting or toying with the tags in my typewriter. I may try the typewriter on them on a different page since I still have some left.

Last week for science our lab didn't turn out...we were trying to make a battery out of a lemon (copper, galvanized nails, LED lights and some wire) and sadly our failure at that kind of set the tone for most of the remaining week, so hopefully this week our science stays the course!

The sun has been shining and our snow is slowly starting to finally melt which is something to be happy about for sure. I'm really getting the itch to see some green and play in the dirt again! Always takes us a bit longer to get there in northern Wisconsin it seems. For now, I'll just continue to plan.

XO,

Jen
